Homemade Coffee Creamer

Homemade Coffee Creamer (Back to Basics)

Sure, it might be easier to add creamer to your grocery pickup order but what I’ve found is that there truly isn’t a “healthy” creamer option on the shelf at your local grocery store. I have been hooked on a couple Sweet Creams that I assumed were the best options as far as ingredients go. However, sneaky marketing of “Natural Flavors” turns out to not be so natural. Don’t get me wrong, I indulge. But when I know I am consuming something every single day, I decided that it might be in my families best interest to swap out those chemicals. Thus - A healthy go to creamer option. You can google tons of recipes but this one is by far my favorite and the easiest to whip together when you're lacking time.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream or half & half - depends on which fat content you prefer.

  • 2 cups whole milk

  • 6–8 tbsp maple syrup or honey (adjust for sweetness)

  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract

  • 1 tbsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Warm the milk and cream in a small saucepan over low heat—don’t let it boil.

  2. Whisk in your sweetener, cinnamon and vanilla until smooth.

  3. Let cool, then pour into a glass bottle or jar.

  4. Store in the fridge up to 1 week. Shake before using!

Cleaner ingredients, no additives, and it looks so pretty in a glass bottle.
